A'yup, you're coming into the Most Beautiful Time of the Year in Maine (as I recall). It's been a long time since I've been there, but I remember those rolling little hills and the vibrant color and all the church steeples.

I haven't read Daniel Silva, although I have perused him. That series sounds interesting to me (heavy?) Let me know what you think! I'm currently reading "Sugar Queen" by the same author who wrote "Garden Spells" and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's rather light reading, but well-done and it definitely brings on grins.
