Last night, NBC fact checked Sarah Palin's claims of "that Bridge to Nowhere" and found that she came up a bit short.
Now CBS is digging even further into her record on earmarks and found that even though she backed off the bridge to nowhere, she kept Congress's $235 million--and is currently spending every penny. As a matter of fact, Alaska has received more than $450 million in earmarks in the last two years. And this is a state that is grossly wealthy due to its energy reserves.
Hey Gov. Palin--how about you share a little of that money with another state, like say, Maine? We sure could use it. In 2005, we snagged a whopping $74, 864,000 of pork.
