Security System

Daffodils RG slid up to Cushing with a friend on Thursday to deliver the kayaks.  They stayed long enough to unload the 'goods'-- the kayaks, four 18th-Century ladder back chairs that found for a song at Bell Weather Farms (discounted 50%) and the drop leaf table that used to hold the TV. He checked on the progress of the dock repair and noted that the entire end of the yard is full of hundreds of daffodils (roughly corresponding to the red box there at left).

Friday morning at 7:30, Kia called.  She wanted me to know that some one was "effin around your place, probably because they know me and Richard's been gone A Lot, up to Tia's place fixin' it up.  There's kayaks in your yard that ain't supposed to be there, are they? "

I explained those were the kayaks we bought so we could go eagle spotting with her and then all was well, with no mention of her gun and what a good shot she is,  but all's I'm sayin' to y'all is don't mess with our house....we might not be there as often as we like, but we've got a fantastic security system.

Your hyperlink didn't work...or maybe it was me?

Where the heck is Cushing anyway?

Cushing is just south of Rockland, in the mid-Coast. It's really lovely, but there's nothing there except the Wyeth family and nice views.
