After Gray Monday, it's time for a cheery image.
On Saturday, in frigid (21 degrees in November qualifies--I dare you to say different) temperatures we went to Rockland to see the Lobster Trap Tree.
34 feet of evergreen shaped traps, donated by the Brooks Trap Mill in Thomaston, and decorated with buoys from fishing families, and topped by a boiled lobster...doesn't get any better than this, does it?

That's a wonderful Christmas tree. It will look stunning in a coat of snow.
